One plan, one price, and no tiers

June 9, 20263 min read

Arck costs $8.90 a month. There is no second tier, no per-listing fee, and no feature held back for a plan you have not bought.

Why tiers are tempting

The standard playbook is obvious enough: cap listings on the cheap plan, put bulk publishing and analytics behind the expensive one, and let the people doing the most volume pay the most. It works. It also means the reseller getting the most out of the tool is the one being squeezed hardest, which is a strange way to treat your best case.

What the price has to cover

Two things cost real money per user: the AI that drafts your listings, and the servers that watch for sales and run the delists. Both scale with how much you list. A flat price means heavy users are subsidised by light ones, which we would rather explain honestly than hide in a pricing grid.

The trade

One plan means we cannot win a feature comparison against a tool with a $40 tier. It also means you never have to work out which row of the table you are in. That seemed like the better deal.
